Review: I picked up this book because the tagline intrigued me: “Two of you exist. Only one would survive.” I wanted this book to be full of action, adventure, and a bit of soul-searching. I was not disappointed! West is a troubled teen who needs to kill her “twin” in order to survive. She has no choice. It’s a kill or be killed society. Even though she is dealing with major grief, she must keep her head in the game. At times, the grief overtakes her and she makes some mistakes. Throughout the book, after each mistake, I wanted to yell at her to help her see reason! This is a must read for anyone who enjoyed the Hunger Games series and the Legend series. I can’t wait to read the sequel to see what happens next!
